Day82 Kansas City - Grain Valley 27.6 miles

No problems on my legs. I can go on.

The color of autumn leaves has already started to change.

Most of them are yellow, red are very few.

It is the best time of the year for runners to enjoy running.

Life is fun if you're enjoying it!

Day 79 Lenexa - Kansas City, Missouri 27.4 miles

Long day. As I had expected, I got lost so many times.

Asked local people the directions but it didn't make sense.

It means that it's very easy to get lost in big cities.

But finally I was able to get through with today's run in Kansas City, MO.

Also finished running 236 miles for 8 days in a row,

Long Beach, CA is now 1919mies away from here.

But still 1200 miles to go to NYC.

Hope to finish by Thanksgiving Day.

Had a great time at the party tonight.

Meeting people is my treasure.

Every meeting has a meaning.

No more cool days.

Just cold in the morning.

No more hot days.

Just warm in the daytime.

The color of the wind looks like that of autumn already.

Have been running for 7 days in a row.

Affter 210 miles from Wichita, I got kind of tired here and there in my whoe body.

Tomorrow I'll be entering Missouri.

Gonna take 2 day-off!

Day 74 Eureka - Yates Center 31.9 miles

Started before the sunrise.

The sky was getting kind of red and orange but sun didn't show at all.

Soon it started to rain.

Got to get ready for the rain suits.

It had been raining on and off and cool all day long.

No service was available until I get to Yates Center.

But I met to bikers who were riding from Pensylvania to Arizona.

It's always nice to see travelers on the way.

Wonder what has become of Japanese Typhoon...

Day 73 El Dorado - Eureka 32.9miles

Just going on and on, without looking back, I ran for the horizon.

No one talk to, I kept silent whole day.

Taking a look at some flowers, I felt good when soft gentle breeze touching my cheek.

I don't care how far it is to my goal.

Feeling like running till the end of the world...

Day 72 Wichita - El Dorado 30.1 mile

The first day of PEACE RUN 2011 Running Across America 2nd Stage.

I spent a plenty of time in Wichita but finally today I left.

Shaking hands with Tony, who alll the way came to say goodbye to me,  I set out for my final destination NYC.

All alone in the highway, all I got to do is concentrate my mind on running.

Nice, sunny day. Not too warm, not too cold.

Around 3 pm, I reached today's goal El Dorado.

Still, my-wild-self is sleeping in my soul.

Hope everything will be OK until I get to NYC.

PEACE RUN 2011 Running Across America 2nd Stage

I left Long Beach, California on May 25, 2011, when my "PEACE RUN 2011 Running Across America" started.

My final destination is Batttery Park, New York City, where I will see the Statue of Liberty 5,000km(3,125miles) away from Long Beach.

I Crossed the Mohave Desert, visited the Monument Valley, had a hard time suffering from herpes, went beyond the Wolf Creek Pass about 10,000 feet above sea level.

In the plain, an excessive heatwave warning had been issued almost everyday during the first week of August.

As soon as I arrrived in Wichita, Kansas, I decided to stop running.

It must have been a right choice. I flew back to LA to take a rest staying at my friend's place.

On August 17, I got out of the US and flew back to Japan.

After 3-week-rest at home, I came back to Wichita, Kansas again.

Now I'm getting ready for the 2nd Stage of my running journey to New York City.

I'm leaving on Monday 19th and get back on the road again!
